The face is the first thing that someone notices in a guy. Is he handsome, so-so, or not. Well that depends on the eye of the beholder lol. This aspect relies much on good genes passed on. If the parents are both attractive, so much likely is the guy. Like I said, labeling a guy handsome is subjective. You might want deep-set eyes, bony cheekbones, square jaw, etc. It all depends on your taste. Also, guys who have "less" face value might have lesser chances of making their face more appealing. I know there's plastic surgery to enhance the looks but it requires a hefty sum of money, kind of impractical.
Next component is the body. More and more people are attracted to toned bodies, those that have six-pack abs, bulging pecs, etc. Unlike the face, a perfect body can be achieved by exerting physical effort (i.e. gym workout) plus determination. Another thing that may influence body appearance is the metabolism. Some people, like me, won't gain much of body mass spite of eating much, they're called ectomorphs. There are also those that gain much weight even with less food consumption, endomorphs. Lastly, there are those who are in the middle, having normal metabolism, mesomorphs. There are rare genetic occurrences of guys having muscular built without having to do much, lucky for them. Height may also be included, depending whether you like tall or short guys.
With all the mentioned components, we start evaluating a certain guy or maybe yourself. You can use the Attractive Guy Evaluation Chart as a guide. Tick or shade the region designating the value of each component. I prefer shading, looks colorful. Then do necessary computations (use a calculator if needed). With the result of the computation we now have the over-all rating of the attractive guy. So what now? the rating would signify the so-called "level of attractiveness" that a guy has. The chart is subjective in nature, use it for fun not for serious evaluations.
Here's a simple tutorial in the form of an animated GIF :)
